The huge infinity pool with sweeping views from its high vantage point and the private pebble beach are among the highlights of the resort. The beach has numerous sun loungers and daybeds scattered along the wooded coastline and across two wooden jetties. Stand-up paddleboards are available to try out at one jetty, and both jetties are equipped with step ladders from which you can leisurely sink into the cool water. Amanruya also offers a three-story library, a gym, a yoga studio, a tennis court, and spa treatment rooms where you can relax with a first-class hot stone massage. The concierge will be happy to arrange a variety of excursions for you – from an authentic pottery class to a romantic candlelit dinner at a secluded location of your choice.

The 35 tranquil and stylish pavilions are extremely bright and furnished in a minimalist yet luxurious style using local stone and wood. All offer a peaceful outdoor area, a heated pool, a pergola with a wonderful daybed for napping in the shade, wooden chaise longues for sunbathing, and a refreshing outdoor shower. You can choose between garden and sea views, while the interior is the same in every accommodation, with simple white walls, cool marble floors, and Ottoman-inspired elements such as a charcoal fireplace and fine carpets. A magnificent four-poster bed with thin white curtains forms the centerpiece of the bedroom, while the living area is furnished with a sofa, a desk, and a dining table for two.

If you want to enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine, you can expect numerous culinary delights right from breakfast: names such as Menemen, Çılbır, and Gözleme will definitely be familiar to you after a vacation at Amanruya. The Pool Dining Pavilion and Beach Club offer lighter dishes at lunchtime, perfect for lazy days by the water, followed by a relaxing afternoon tea. Be sure to try the traditional pastries and a cup of coffee in between. In the wine lounge, enjoy spectacular views of the bay and surrounding hills while sipping a Turkish Sauvignon Blanc from the in-house wine cellar. In the evening, Mediterranean and Turkish-inspired dishes to share are an absolute must, from velvety baba ganoush with pomegranate seeds to beetroot hummus and sinfully sweet baklavas for dessert.

Details of Amanruya

The name Amanruya is composed of the words for "peace" in Sanskrit and "dream" in Turkish – there is hardly a better way to describe a luxury vacation at Amanruya. The charming complex cascades down a series of terraces to the sparkling Aegean Sea, crowned by a private pebble beach with two jetties and various water sports options, and the architecture reinterprets the Aegean-Anatolian design language and Ottoman heritage. Fragments of ancient stone blocks used as posts lend the building a touch of Bodrum culture. The accommodations, dining pavilions, and lounges are scattered across the pine-scented grounds, crisscrossed by winding paths, olive groves, and cypress trees.
