No matter which room you choose, they all boast gentle elegance and Asian-inspired décor. The balconies are spacious and offer breathtaking views from every floor. The interior is Thai-inspired: exquisite brass sculptures, teak floors, and rich Jim Thompson fabrics are complemented by white wood paneling, large mirrors, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The spacious bathrooms are lined with marble floors and concave green wall tiles. On top of that, there are in-house toiletries in chic aluminum bottles and a Japanese toilet that courteously lifts its lid when you approach.

All of the hotel's restaurants and bars are absolutely spectacular. One highlight worth mentioning, however, is Le Normandie by Alain Roux, which boasts two Michelin stars. You will also love Kinu – Kyoto-style cuisine developed by chef Takagi Kazuo and given a delicate Thai touch. Take an hour or more for afternoon tea in the Authors' Lounge. Breakfast by the river ensures a good start to the day with fresh coconuts, mango, and sticky rice, as well as lightly spiced chicken and ham served with rösti and eggs.

The hotel's own ferry will take you across the Chao Phraya River in just a few minutes to the Oriental Spa, located in an antique teak house. In one of ten treatment rooms, you can rejuvenate yourself completely – from a traditional Thai massage to foot treatments with fire and ice that stimulate circulation. Active guests can work out in the fitness center, play a few sets on the floodlit tennis courts, take part in free aerobics, Zumba, Pilates, and similar sweat-inducing sessions, or even compete in a Thai boxing match.
