Split Apple Retreat

Abel Tasman National Park
from $1,152

The Split Apple Retreat is a stunningly beautiful resort nestled amid the unspoiled nature of New Zealand's South Island, located on the edge of Abel Tasman National Park. The focus is on relaxation and wellness: the resort's Japanese spa offers a wide range of highly effective treatments; yoga classes, guided meditations, an infrared sauna, and a saltwater infinity pool perfectly round out the soothing offerings. At the same time, Split Apple Retreat is distinguished by its exclusivity: there are only three luxurious suites on the grounds, each offering plenty of space, the highest level of comfort, and breathtaking views of the deep blue sea.

Hike along beautiful trails beside golden beaches and majestic granite cliffs. Watch lively dolphins in the sparkling water—from the coast, from a boat, or even up close during a kayaking tour. Or try skydiving, with guaranteed breathtaking views of one of the most beautiful regions on earth. We are also happy to book a helicopter for excursions and picnics in very special remote locations. You can treat your taste buds to an exclusive tour of the vineyards, complete with wine tasting. And to help you unwind after your exciting excursions, Split Apple Retreat offers yoga, meditation, and soothing treatments in a dreamlike setting.

Living
Living

Three luxurious and modern suites are available at Split Apple Retreat. The Fuji Suite welcomes you with Japanese-inspired décor, a luxurious granite bathroom, two private terraces and gardens, and a comfortable king-size bed. The Rainbow Suite even features a super king-size bed, and the living area is divided into two levels. Thanks to the comfortable pull-out sofa in the separate living area, the suite is also suitable for three people. The Lotus Suite combines the advantages of the other two suites: a super king-size bed meets stylish Japanese furnishings, including a granite bathroom and two terraces with gardens. In addition to a wonderful view of the sea, all three suites offer state-of-the-art amenities such as a large LCD flat-screen TV with Apple TV, automatic blinds, and fast WiFi.

Here you can enjoy delicious gourmet menus that also have a positive effect on your physical well-being and make you glow from the inside out. Chef Pen offers exclusive cooking classes so you can take some of the secrets of this extraordinary Asian-Mediterranean fusion cuisine home with you. At Split Apple Retreat, we believe that lasting beauty and holistic well-being come from within.

Details of Split Apple Retreat

On New Zealand's South Island, near Nelson, there is a hideaway right on the beautiful coastline that has been awarded TripAdvisor's "Traveller's Choice" award and the Condé Nast Johansens Award for good reason. The Split Apple Retreat focuses on modern elegance. Clean lines, warm wood elements, and large panoramic windows create a unique feel-good atmosphere. An iPod port and an LCD TV with Apple TV are among the small amenities that make your stay even more enjoyable.
