Kathmandu has a lot to offer culturally, and since Dwarika's has made it its mission to preserve the art and culture of the region, especially that of the Newari people, the hotel offers a variety of interesting opportunities to learn more about it. You can discover the region's temples, along with their stories and rituals, delve deeper into the art of traditional wood carving, or visit the fascinating regions around Kathmandu. Back at the hotel, you can relax in the spa and enjoy the holistic treatments. Or cool off in the beautiful pool, which is modeled after a royal bath. In the evening, you can get to know the lively city of Kathmandu with its restaurants and cultural offerings.

Details of The Dwarika's Hotel

An architectural masterpiece made of wood and handmade bricks, adorned with intricately carved unique pieces from the Newari civilization, whose preservation was the goal of hotel founder Dwarika Das Shrestha, forms the aesthetic centerpiece of the majestic Dwarika's Hotel. The furnishings of the rooms and suites also pay homage to Nepal's artistic history: the individual designs combine traditional regional elements with Western standards of comfort and amenities. Handcrafted terracotta tiles, hand-woven upholstery, and original antique woodwork create the ambiance of the hotel's rooms.
