The elegant singular Patagonia at the apex of Last Hope Sound in remote Puerto Natales—the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park—does not reveal its past as a factory from the outside. Today, the Chilean luxury hotel makes vacation dreams come true. Nevertheless, some of the old factory premises have been preserved and stylishly integrated into the rustic design of the building. At the same time, every amenity has been considered, including a large spa and a first-class restaurant serving Patagonian lamb as a specialty.

The Singular Spa pampers your tired feet with decongestant leg massages, hydrotherapy, and hot stone treatments in four treatment rooms. The indoor and outdoor pools, hammam, and sauna offer views of the tranquil fjord. A wide range of excursions are also available. Hike in southern Patagonia and visit lakes and waterfalls, hop on a bike and ride around the fjord, or spend a day riding with Chilean cowboys on a traditional estancia. The hotel has bicycles, kayaks, and even a private boat that will take you to the Serrano Glacier.

Choose between beautiful rooms and elegant suites, which offer extra space for luggage and personal development. Some suites offer breathtaking views of Last Hope Sound. Similar to the rust-red exterior of the new building, the guest rooms are decorated in earthy tones and rustic elements that recall the industrial past of the building. Polished concrete ceilings and copper lights sourced directly from the factory create a very special atmosphere and tell stories of times gone by, without compromising on luxury and comfort.

cuisine
cuisine

The delicious cuisine at both Singular hotels, Patagonia and Santiago, is the brainchild of chef Hernán Basso, who has created a sensational menu. Overlooking the calm waters of Last Hope, you can enjoy modern reinterpretations of lamb dishes, such as lamb chops with white beans or glazed lamb shank with Roquefort polenta. The second restaurant, El Asador, is located in the old smithy and offers intimate meals with traditional cuisine – including vegan and pescetarian options. Afterwards, the post-Victorian bar in the old part of the hotel invites you to enjoy an excellent Calafate Sour or one of around 75 Chilean wines.
