After a five-hour flight on the Gulfstream G550 over the imposing icebergs, you will reach the Antarctic Circle. From now on, the sun will literally never set. You will be welcomed at Wolf's Fang airstrip, where you will board a private jet to fly to your final destination, the Whichaway luxury camp.

Spend the afternoon getting a first impression of Antarctica on a walk, or dive straight into adventure and go ice climbing.

During your stay in Antarctica, you should not miss out on a trip to see the emperor penguins. On a two-hour flight, you can discover the impressive polar plateau from above. Your guide will take you to the emperor penguin colony with over 3,000 breeding pairs and their newly hatched chicks. As tourists are a rarity on the continent, the chicks are very curious and often waddle right up to your feet, making you one of the few people to witness the "march of the emperor penguins" live from just a few meters away.

Today, you will depart early in the morning on the Basler BT-67 to continue your journey to Dixie's Camp, where you will spend the night. Enjoy the breathtaking views as you fly over phenomenal mountain ranges. After landing, you will take a short hike to the high polar plateau, where you will enjoy more incomparable views.

Then continue on to the South Pole and discover the southernmost point in the world together with your guide. Here you will have plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photos as souvenirs before returning to Dixie's Camp in the evening.

After your trip to the South Pole, you will return to Whichaway, your base camp. Explore the area around Whichaway Camp, visit ice waves, and walk through spectacular ice tunnels in the caves below Whichaway Camp. Take an Arctic truck safari through snow and ice to a breathtaking viewpoint where you can enjoy panoramic views of the sea and waves. Another highlight is the ascent of Nunatak Peak, from which you can abseil down the slope at the end of the tour and get another exciting impression of Antarctica.

Take one last look at the incredible icebergs below you before landing back in Cape Town. Once you arrive in the heat of Africa, you can begin your journey home. Alternatively, we would be happy to organize a continuation of your trip through South Africa or a longer stay in Cape Town, for example with a visit to the wine lands around the city.
