After five exciting days in Madagascar, you will first fly to Zambia's capital Lusaka and from there take a small plane to Lower Zambezi National Park. Nestled between the imposing mountain range in the north and the mighty Zambezi River in the south, the Lower Zambezi Valley offers a variety of activities that few other destinations can match. Go on boat safaris or canoe trips on the Zambezi River, or discover rare tiger fish while fishing. On a safari drive, you can observe wild dogs, lions, leopards, and other predators hunting.

The Lower Zambezi National Park is best known for its large elephant population, and with a little luck, you may see a bull elephant standing on its hind legs eating leaves from the trees. Watch hippos, elephants, and crocodiles in the river while relaxing on your terrace.

Your journey continues to the east of the country, to South Luangwa National Park. The region is also known as the "Valley of the Leopards" and therefore offers you unique opportunities to observe wild cats. Discover the difference between lion and leopard paws as you run your finger over their prints in the ground. Admire a family of elephants or a herd of Cape buffalo on safari. Marvel at the richness of 450 bird species one minute and a pack of endangered wild dogs the next.
