You can look forward to a culinary excursion to the local market to purchase the freshest ingredients for preparing a pre-selected dish. You will then use these ingredients to prepare a veritable feast during an interactive cooking class, which you will enjoy with all your senses.

You will be taken to Oaxaca, where the delicacies of this fascinating city await you! Enjoy at least one meal at your hotel, as the in-house chef Alejandro Ruiz is world-renowned for his modern Oaxacan cuisine. On a night tour of Oaxaca, you will discover special culinary spots away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Exquisite mezcales and delicious grilled tlayuda await you! On a full-day excursion, you will visit the archaeological site of Mitla to explore magnificent mosaics and tombs. Afterwards, you will visit the simple village distilleries of the pueblos, where high-quality mezcal is produced.

The obligatory cooking class is also on the agenda in Oaxaca, again with a visit to the market beforehand – but this time just to browse and look around. Your private cooking guide is Oscar Carrizosa, who learned traditional cuisine from scratch in numerous village communities. He will have the ingredients for the selected menu ready for you, including salsas, tortillas, the starter, a soup, an Oaxaca mole, and a fantastic dessert. In the picturesque village of Teotitlan Del Valle, another regional cooking class with and by locals awaits you. Today, a light aircraft will take you on a breathtaking flight over the mountains of Oaxaca. After about 30 minutes, you will land at Puerto Escondido International Airport to check into your villa on the beautiful coast.
