The dhow is a traditional sailing ship in the Indian Ocean. Afterwards, you will travel on to the Wahiba Desert, where you will spend the night in an authentic desert camp. Then visit the village of Birkat Al Muz, which lies at the foot of the mountain, surrounded by desert ruins, plantations, and the Afjat, an ancient irrigation system and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The green Jabal Akhdar mountain is one of the most fertile places for fruits and flowers in Oman, and is where Omani rose water comes from. Experience the wonderful view from the Saiq Plateau and walk to one of the surrounding mountain villages. Further on in Wadi Bani Habib, take a short hike to an abandoned mountain village.
