After a short domestic flight, your journey takes you to Kibale National Park – Uganda's primate paradise. The evergreen rainforest is home to the highest concentration of primates in the world, with 13 different species to discover. The absolute highlight of the park are the approximately 500 chimpanzees that you will encounter while trekking. But you will also encounter other animal inhabitants while hiking through the park: rare forest elephants can be found here, as well as buffalo, leopards, and numerous antelope species – keep your eyes open!
