The original farm hotel offers complete privacy with just 13 suites in traditional cottages lining the shady avenue to the restaurant. The larger cottages with one or two bedrooms delight with their Cape Dutch style and modern glass cubes that house a kitchen and dining table. Due to unbroken demand, reservations for the Babel Restaurant are accepted up to two months in advance. Almost everything that ends up on your plate comes from the restaurant's own garden. The red, green, and yellow salads are a highlight, and the meat portions are generous—most are served on the bone in the simple country style preferred by Maranda Engelbrecht.
