The Fontsanta Hotel, Thermal Spa & Wellness in Mallorca, decorated in neutral colors, welcomes you to a unique spa stay near what is arguably the island's most beautiful beach, Es Trenc, and the saltwater hills of Es Salobrar. Admire the wild landscape and relax in the only thermal baths in the Balearic Islands that originate from the Font Santa spring. Your well-being is our top priority here and is complemented by idyllic tranquility, daily yoga classes, and individually tailored Mediterranean meals. You can also unwind on boat trips, horseback rides, and walks through the magnificent natural surroundings.

The renowned Mallorcan architect Antoni Esteva designed the hotel's accommodations in his own style, using a characteristic color palette of muted, neutral tones, white walls, and wooden floors. The 37 rooms, all of which have their own terrace or balcony, include several suites and a magnificent villa with a magnificent view of the Es Trenc Natural Park. In the unique luxury villa, you can enjoy, among other things, a spectacular outdoor shower and a 30-square-meter private pool in a large garden that emphasizes the proximity to nature and guarantees unforgettable, peaceful moments in the company of your loved ones.

At Fontsanta's in-house restaurant, nutrition and health go hand in hand. It is located in a separate building with stone arches, exposed stone walls, and an idyllic terrace overlooking Es Salobrar. The hotel's head chef, Jhonatan Maldonado, serves exquisite Mediterranean creations made with fresh ingredients sourced from local markets. The meals are also enriched with sea salt from the surrounding salt ponds. The bar offers an impressive selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as a snack menu featuring local specialties such as Iberian ham and Menorcan cheese.

Above all, Fontsanta boasts the only thermal spring in the Balearic Islands, whose 38°C water comes from underground aquifers and is said to have been used by the ancient Romans. Sit back and enjoy the benefits of the mineral-rich mixture of sodium and chlorine salts, magnesium, calcium, sulfur, and potassium. In addition to the hot springs, the spa has three treatment rooms, several whirlpools, a sauna, a steam bath, and a fitness room. Take part in one of the daily yoga classes, sunbathe under the Spanish sun by the outdoor pool, or discover for yourself why Es Trenc is considered one of the best beaches on the island. Take a boat trip to the rocky Cabrera National Park and visit the 14th-century castle, watch seabirds and lizards, or dive down to the underwater archaeological sites. Horseback riding and bike tours can also be arranged.

Details of Fontsanta Hotel, Thermal Spa & Wellness

The exclusive rural boutique hotel Fontsanta was founded in 1845 as a public thermal bath until it passed into private hands in 1916. After a complete renovation, the property was transformed into a chic, modern hotel and is now a magnet for anyone seeking a unique spa experience, absolute tranquility, and idyllic proximity to nature. This Mallorcan sanctuary is housed in an atmospheric 19th-century country house in the south of the island and shines primarily with the Font Santa thermal spring. It is the only one of its kind in the Balearic Islands, has ten individual thermal baths with water temperatures of around 38°C, and is said to have been actively used since Roman times. In addition to several whirlpools, a sauna, a steam bath, massages, beauty treatments, and yoga classes, a nutritionist and a physiotherapist offer private sessions for your well-being.
