Accompanied by highly knowledgeable guides, you can go on game drives, bird watching, wilderness hikes, fishing trips, or canoe trips on the Zambezi River. Younger guests are welcomed at the camp with the special Ngwana Club Starter Kit and a wide range of activities for children of all ages. The family-friendly Nyamatusi Mahogany offers a wide range of exciting activities for children and teenagers. When it gets too hot, cool off in the pool, where you may even see an elephant or two trotting by.

The spacious suites are spread across both halves of the camp and include six luxurious tents and two additional family tents. All accommodations offer a magnificent view of the river and a beautiful deck with daybeds, a plunge pool, and an outdoor shower. The interior is decorated in soothing shades of gray and brown and features light wood floors, woven mats, mosquito nets, and comfortable furniture. The showers and toilets are located in adjacent round cabins. All suites also have air conditioning and a minibar. Electricity throughout the camp is generated by solar energy.

Enjoy your meals in different locations: a continental and hot breakfast is served around the campfire, followed by a light lunch by the river and a three-course dinner in the main building. The cuisine is international and peppered with local delicacies, with a particular focus on regional vegetables and fruit. The cool wine cellar is home to some excellent South African wines. In between meals, refresh yourself with a Savanna Dry Cider, made from Granny Smith apples and produced in South Africa.

Another flagship of African Bush Camps, Nyamatusi Camp awaits you in the beautiful Mana Pools National Park on the banks of the Zambezi River. The camp itself is divided into two halves – one houses six luxurious tented suites, the other – Nyamatusi Mahogany – two more as well as two additional family suites. All suites offer uninterrupted views of the river and the escarpment beyond. Each guest tent is adorned with soft curtains and features air conditioning, a minibar, indoor and outdoor showers, a private viewing deck, and a refreshing plunge pool. The two-story main building, made of wood and straw, has a relaxing, spacious lounge and bar on the top floor, with sumptuous sofas and armchairs, wood carvings and baskets, and a fabulous view. On the lower floor, there is another bar and various dining areas, either under the roof or on the terrace near the campfire.
