In the 120 rooms and suites of Raffles London, you can breathe in history with every breath. Former offices of military leaders and larger public spaces have been converted into elegant retreats, including five historic suites and eight corner suites named after female spies and famous women. Exquisite stucco on meter-high ceilings, polished floors, leather-upholstered furniture, and elegant wall paneling in dark English oak create a unique symphony of opulence; the huge Churchill Suite, where D-Day was once planned, is perhaps the most spectacular accommodation in the city.

Details of Raffles London

The impressive Old War Office, which housed the British Ministry of Defense during both world wars, was the residence of legendary Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and was where part of the historic D-Day landing was planned, is now home to Raffles London, perhaps the most spectacular luxury hotel in the city. The building's eventful history can be felt in every corner, and its original Edwardian charm has been largely preserved. Thanks to the late French architect Thierry Despont, the interiors are a veritable feast of stately, wood-paneled rooms, where velvet and marble have been used sparingly.
