Just a short domestic flight away, the mountain town of Phaplu awaits you at an altitude of 2,400 meters. Take your first hike to Chinwong Monastery to acclimatize your body to the altitude of 2,800 meters. After a traditional lunch with the monks, you will have the opportunity to participate in prayer sessions at the monastery and guided meditations, immersing yourself in the world of Buddhism.

A special highlight of this trip is the helicopter flight over the Everest region. Fly close to Mount Everest and other important peaks and marvel at the sun rising over the highest mountain in the world. Visit the local school and hospital in Phaplu and learn more about life in the mountains of the world's highest country.

Your journey continues with a trekking adventure: climb the Ratnange ridge on a 3-hour hike. Admire how the sunset bathes the Himalayas in golden colors. Enjoy dinner in a Mongolian yurt—a traditional tent. Spend the night on the mountain in an expedition-style tent.

The next morning, experience the sunrise with panoramic views of the eastern Nepalese Himalayas, including Everest. Enjoy breakfast at the camp surrounded by unique scenery. Hike along the ridge southwards to the village of Chyalsa, a former settlement founded by Tibetan refugees.

Back in Kathmandu, embark on a journey through Nepal's culture and spirituality and visit two of the country's most important temples. The Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most important sites for Nepalese Hindus, located on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu. Visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is dedicated to the national deity, Lord Shiva.

Immerse yourself in Buddhist culture with a visit to the Boudhanath Stupa. As the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet, it is the center of Tibetan culture in the Kathmandu Valley and is rich in Buddhist symbolism. Here you can observe the religious practices of many believers up close.

After a short domestic flight, you will find yourself surrounded by nature in Chitwan National Park. At your accommodation, the Meghauli Serai, you will have the opportunity to observe rhinos, crocodiles, and birds. From the viewing platform, you can enjoy a unique view of the Rapti River and the national park. Admire the colorful spectacle of the sunset.

Take a safari trip into the jungle and explore the sal forests, lush grasslands, and oxbow lakes. Admire native species such as the great hornbill, rustic goose, kingfisher, and red-headed trogon. Experience the surroundings on the back of an elephant as it strides through tall grass and wades through rivers. Drift down the picturesque Rapti River and enjoy the magnificent views of the foothills of the Himalayas and the wildlife.

The end of your journey takes you back to Kathmandu and to another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a half-day tour to the royal city of Bhaktapur, known as the "City of Faith and Culture," the "Living Heritage," and "Nepal's Cultural Jewel." Admire the numerous monuments, most of them made of terracotta with carved wooden pillars, palaces and temples with ornate carvings, gilded roofs and open courtyards. The city is dotted with pagodas and religious shrines. Located on the ancient trade route between India and Tibet, Bhaktapur is surrounded by mountains and offers magnificent views of the Himalayas.
